How Vendcite manages the information of our merchants' customers.

This policy explains how Vendcite handles information for shoppers and customer account holders. It should be read together with our General Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction

1.1 Vendcite provides software that merchants use to run their online stores. If you have visited or made a purchase from a Vendcite-powered storefront, we collect and use information about you on behalf of that merchant. We process this information at the merchant's direction—they decide how and why your information is used. If you have questions about how a specific store handles your data, please review that merchant's privacy policy.

2. What information we collect about you and why

Information about how you access our websites, your account, and our platform, including device and browser details, network connection, IP address, and how you browse our websites and storefronts. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. When and why we share your information

We use service providers to help us deliver Services to merchants. Outside of those providers, we share your information only when legally required—for example, in response to a valid court order or subpoena—or when a Vendcite merchant instructs us to share information on their behalf. If you have questions about how a merchant shares your personal information, contact that merchant directly or review their privacy policy.

4. Your rights over your information

When you visit or purchase from a Vendcite-powered store, the merchant you are shopping with is the controller of your personal information. That means the merchant—not Vendcite—decides matters such as how long your information is retained. Vendcite cannot access, correct, erase, or port your information unless directed by the relevant merchant.

To make a request about your personal information, contact the merchant directly. If you submit a request to Vendcite, we will forward it to the relevant merchant and help them respond. If the merchant no longer exists, we may be able to assist you directly where permitted by law.
